VRINDA TESTIMONIOS

Testimony by Vrindavan Vilasini d.d. Paramadvaiti Swami (PS) is a pilgrim monk living in the order of sannyas or celibacy for over 30 years. Since then, he travels around the world lecturing at universities and performing festivals of universal love as the leader of the Vrinda mission, which he founded. When I met him in 1997, he seemed to me to be the most lucid, noble person with the most interesting ideas about spiritual life in the modern world. At that time I was studying at the university and I asked my parents for permission to freeze a year of my university career so that I could live in one of the temples he directed and learn about spiritual life. He gave me initiation that year and became my Guru or spiritual master. I spent one of the most beautiful years of my life, I am happy and grateful to have had that experience. It's not something I want to write about because it's been hard for me to find inspiration to do it, I've also been afraid of reprisals because I have a little baby, but in sorority to my sisters and in honor of justice I'm going to tell my truth. Those who know me can confirm that I sincerely believed in the Vaisnava ideals and that I loved the gurus as a dog loves its owner. I served for 14 years mainly in Chile, in a certain occasio n I sought refuge in GM and he invited me to India, that's where it happened... Esto que les voy a relatar me ha estado  dando muchas vueltas en la cabeza durante los últimos meses y hoy al contarle a una amiga que Gurudeva me llamó ayer a mi celular, algunas historias del pasado revivieron la indignación que tuve cuando salí de la “FAMILIA VRINDA”.  A pesar de la última experiencia desagradable que tuve en el templo y que fue la que me hizo decidir irme de la Familia Vrinda, estoy agradecida con los devotos y  con Gurudeva Paramadvaiti mismo, porque realmente fue una escuela de aprendizaje y definitivamente hicieron de mí una persona vegetariana, autosuficiente y fuerte. También viví en “LA FAMILIA VRINDA”  los momentos más hermosos de cercanía con Krishna a través de la alegría del servicio. Como le dijo Saranagati en la llamada telefónica en la que ella le preguntó acerca de los tocamientos indebidos que usted me hizo  en Caracas, una mujer abusada por una figura paternal, se siente tan confundida y traumada, que le cuesta mucho comprender lo que le ha pasado. Por eso, he tardado buen tiempo en poder asumir emocionalmente lo que me hizo y ser capaz de confrontarlo con la ayuda de mis hermanos espirituales más cercanos.
